Sadie Grimm Legacy Ride

Gear up in your best Canadiana and join us as we celebrate the legacy of legendary Canadian trailblazer Sadie Grimm.   Join all riders as we meet here, at The Sasquatch Inn for a social from 1-4pm.

At just 19 years old, Sadie Grimm made history when she successfully completed the grueling 100-mile off-road journey from Winnipeg to Winnipeg Beach aboard her 1914 Indian Motorcycle. She became the first person to conquer the formidable route on two wheels—an achievement that had eluded many men before her. Her determination, courage, and pioneering spirit continue to inspire riders across Canada today.

The Sadie Grimm Legacy Ride is Canada’s answer to the spirit of International Female Ride Day. Sparked in 2017 by the Women of the CMMG, this annual celebration takes place on the second Sunday of June and continues to grow year after year. Our mission is simple: unite women riders from coast to coast, celebrate our shared passion for motorcycling, and honour the women who paved the way.

Whether you’re riding from a major city or a small town, we invite you to ride, represent, and celebrate with us. Together, we’re building a nationwide movement—one mile at a time.
